A 106-member South Korean delegation is to fly direct to North Korea Saturday (Feb. 8) to discuss inter-Koreabn cooperation programs.
Farmers, doctors and aid workers belonging to four groups, including the Korean Sharing Movement and the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, are to meet with their North Korean counterparts in Pyongyang.
Staying in the North Korean capital for four days, the delegation will participate in the Feb. 10 opening of a chicken farm set up jointly in Pyongyang, and discuss future agricultural cooperation on the civilian level.
Korean Medical Association officials will meet with North Korean medical officials to discuss improving the North's health care system and visit pharmaceutical companies and hospitals in the Pyongyang area.
