【Internal Affairs】
On June 30, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un extended thanks to the workers involved in the construction of Ryomyong Street.
 
On June 27-28, the North Korean media reported that Premier Pak Pong Ju and Vice Chairman of the State Affairs Commission Choe Ryong Hae made a field survey of Hwangju County, North Hwanghae Province and Jaeryong Country, South Hwanghae Province, respectively, the regions hit by severe drought.
 
On June 28, the North Korean media reported that a meeting of the 3rd Committee of the Korean Space Association was held.
 
On June 28, the North Korean media reported that the Korean April 26 Cartoon Film Studio produced “The Boy General,” a feature-length cartoon.
 
【Inter-Korean Affairs】
On June 24, the North Korean media reported that the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation, in an open questionnaire, criticized the ROK government’s attitude toward North Korea, presented “nine questions” concerning inter-Korean relations, and called on the South to make a responsible decision for developing inter-Korean relations and achieving independent reunification.
 
On June 28, the North Korean media reported that the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of People’s Security, and the Central Public Prosecutors Office, in a joint statement, claimed that there was a terrorist attempt against Kim Jong Un by the ROK and US intelligence agencies, declared that they would subject those responsible for the terrorist attempt to capital punishment, and demanded that the ROK government hand over those involved in the terrorist attempt.
 
On June 29, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Korean Peace Advocacy National Committee, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, condemned the ROK President’s remarks made when he observed the test-firing of Hyunmoo-II and denounced the ROK army's “2017 Unification Military Exercises.”
 
On June 29, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the DPRK Emergency Measure Committee for Rescuing Abducted Persons, in a statement, called on the South to repatriate the restaurant workers who defected to the South and Kim Ryen-hi.
 
On June 30, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation, in a statement, blasted the South Korean ultra-right organizations’ moves to gather forces and instigated a campaign against the conservatives.
 
【Foreign Affairs】
On June 28, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the National Coordinating Committee of the DPRK for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, condemned the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for adopting a statement, which maintained the highest level of sanctions on North Korea, at the plenary meeting on June 21-23.
 
On June 29, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Nationwide Emergency Measure Committee against DPRK-targeted Nuclear War Exercises, denounced the US’s military pressure on North Korea including joint military drills involving the USS Nimitz and USS Ronald Carrier Strike Group, and US B-1 strategic bombers.
 
On June 30, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, condemned the US Department of State’s 2017 Trafficking in Persons Report (listing North Korea one of the world’s worst human trafficking offenders for a 15th consecutive year).
 
On June 30, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, blasted the International Coalition to Stop Crimes Against Humanity in  North Korea (ICNK) for arguing that North Korea purchased facilities for the Masikryong Ski Resort in violation of UN sanctions, and also criticized the ICNK’s remarks on the use of child labor for the operation of the ski resort.
