On July 15, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Nationwide Emergency Measure Committee against DPRK-targeted Nuclear War Exercises, in a statement, blasts the US regarding the 60th anniversary of US deployment of nuclear weapons in South Korea (July 15, 1957) and calls on the South to change its pro-American policy.
On July 15, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Central Committee of the Korean Educational and Cultural Workers’ Union, in a statement, condemned the previous ROK administration for declaring the Korean Teachers’ and Education Workers’ Union (KTU) illegal and supported the legalization campaign of the KTU.
On July 20, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation, in a statement, denounced the South Korean conservative parties’ response to the disclosure of the previous administrations’ internal documents found at Cheongwadae and instigated a campaign against the conservatives.
On July 21, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the National Economic Cooperation Federation, in a statement, criticized the ROK government’s response to the US-initiated renegotiation of the bilateral FTA and instigated an anti-American rally.

On July 18, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, stated that the US government apologized for seizing a diplomatic package from the delegation of DPRK diplomats at JFK International Airport in New York and returned it.
On July 21, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, condemned Tomás Ojea Quintana, the UN special rapporteur on North Korean human rights, for collecting information on the human rights situation in North Korea through meetings with ROK government officials including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and North Korean defectors.
