【Internal Affairs】
On November 2 and 6, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un provided field guidance at the Amnokgang Tire Factory and a newly built potato farina production factory in Samjiyon.
On December 2, the North Korean media reported that a fish farm was built in the Sokda District, Chungsan County, South Pyongan Province.
On December 3 and 4, the North Korean media reported that on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a meeting was held at the Central Youth Hall (December 3) and a workshop was held at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club (December 4).
On December 5, the North Korean media reported that the opening ceremony of the 2017 national exhibition and presentation of scientific and technological achievements in agriculture was held at the Institute of Agricultural Science, followed by experience-sharing presentations by workers at the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and the exhibition at the Central Hall of Workers.
On December 8, the North Korean media reported that a parade of new tractors and cargo trucks was held in Kim Il Sung Square on December 7.
 
【Inter-Korean Affairs】
On December 3, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country of the DPRK, in a statement, condemned the ROK-US joint aerial drills and made a threat against Seoul and Washington, citing the statement by the chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK (September 21).
On December 7, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, in a statement, blasted the South Korean government for refusing to accept the request by the South’s two umbrella labor unions to contact North Korean people (November 30).
 
 【Foreign Affairs】
On December 2, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the ROK-US joint aerial drills (December 4-8) and made a threat against Seoul and Washington.
On December 6, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, condemned US high-ranking officials’ tough remarks against the DPRK (the potential for war with North Korea is growing and the Pentagon should move the families of US military personnel out of South Korea).
