【Internal Affairs】
 
On December 9 and 12-13, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un climbed Paektusan Mountain; provided field guidance at various facilities in Samjiyon County; and participated in the 8th Conference of Munitions Industry.
 
On December 9 and 15, the North Korean media reported that Premier Pak Pong Ju gave field guidance at the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, the Posan Iron Works, the Pyongyang Essential Oil Factory (December 9); the Sunchon Cement Complex, the Songyong Paint Factory; and the Ryugyong Kimchi Factory (December 15).
 
On December 12-13, the North Korean media reported that the 8th Conference of Munitions Industry was held at the April 25 House of Culture on December 11-12.
 
On December 15, the North Korean media reported that North Korea propagated achievements of institutions in nanotechnology.

On December 15, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, condemned the ROK government for announcing additional unilateral sanctions (December 10).
 
 【Foreign Affairs】
On December 9 and 14, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, blasted the US’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the US’s remarks on a “naval blockade” against North Korea.
 
On December 9, the North Korean media reported that the Institute of Human Rights at the Academy of Social Sciences, in a white paper, emphasized that the DPRK is a bastion of human rights on the occasion of Human Rights Day (December 10) and denounced the US and the international community for imposing sanctions on the North.
 
On December 14, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, blasted the UN Security Council for calling a ministerial meeting on non-proliferation and North Korea.
 
On December 15, the North Korean media reported that the director of the Disarmament and Peace Institute of the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, condemned the US, South Korea, and Japan for holding the US-led missile-tracking exercises (December 11-12).
