media reported that sect**** meetings to implement the Panmunjeom
Declaration were held.
On June 25, the North Korean media reported that a meeting was held
between chairpersons of the North, South, and Overseas Sides of the
Joint National Committee for the Implementation of the June 15 Joint Declaration.
On June 26, the North Korean media condemned the South Korean
conservative parties while mentioning the local election results in June.
On June 28, the North Korean media blasted the North Korea Human
Rights Foundation and urged the South to repeal the North Korea Human
Rights Act.
【Foreign Affairs】
On June 26, the North Korean media asserted
that settlement of past colonial rule is the key to improvement in
relations between North Korea and Japan.
On June 27, the North Korean media highlighted that the North should
pursue foreign policy befitting its “strategic status.”
On June 29, the North Korean media emphasized the denuclearization
of the Korean Peninsula in accordance with the principle of “phased,
simultaneous actions” between North Korea and the US.
