1. Minister's Schedules
Minister Kim Yeon Chul will attend the cabinet meeting on
Tuesday(8.13) at 10 A.M.
On Thursday(8.15), Minister Kim will attend the National Liberation
Day ceremony at 10 A.M.
On Sunday(8.18), Minister Kim will attend a peace concert held at
KBS Hall and deliver congratulatory remarks at the reception event at
5:40 P.M.
2. Vice Minister's Schedule
Vice Minister Suh Ho is on summer vacation until today(8.12).
3. Regarding U.S. Visa Application for ROK Citizens Who Have Visited
North Korea
In accordance with the recent addition of North Korea as a country
subject to restrictions on Visa Waiver Program travel, the ROKG will
issue upon request a certificate of visit to North Korea for the
convenience of our nationals.
The certificate will include details including the recipient’s name,
passport number, and purpose and duration of visit.
However, through ROK-U.S. consultations, the U.S. Embassy in Korea
has explained that individuals do not have to submit additional
documentary evidence of one’s visit to North Korea when applying for a visa.
