A. I am aware that the concerned agency presented the government
stance regarding North Korea’s firing of projectiles.
Q. Yomiuri Shimbun reported that the South Korean government
rejected the North’s request for masks. Is this true?
A. The report is groundless, this is not true at all.
Q. Does the government have any plans to propose cooperation in the
healthcare sector with North Korea?
A. It is the Government’s basic position that cooperation in the
sector is necessary between the two Koreas. The North, however, has
not proposed any in this regard until now, nor are there any on-going
matters regarding this.
