1. Minister’s Schedule
On March 2 at 10 A.M., the Unification Ministry will hold the 54th
anniversary event at the Seoul Government Complex and Unification
Minister Kwon Youngse will deliver congratulatory remarks.
On March 2 in the afternoon, Minister Kwon will meet with
representatives of the Korean Christian Association for the 140th
Anniversary of Korea-US Treaty of 1882. The meeting was arranged at
the request of the Association regarding missionaries detained in
North Korea.

Q) It seems that the food problems were discussed mainly at the
plenary meeting held yesterday. Is there anything else the Ministry is
aware of besides the media reports from North Korea?
A) North Korea reported today that the 7th enlarged plenary meeting
was convened yesterday. Besides what was announced by North Korea,
there is no additional comment for us to provide.
