On June 23, Minister Kwon Youngse paid a courtesy visit to Ven.
Wonhaeng, President of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, and
exchanged greetings and views on the direction of Inter-Korean relations.
Minister Kwon said that there are difficulties in inter-Korean
relations, but the new administration will maintain and evolve the
existing North Korea policy.
Ven. Wonhaeng said that he hopes for early normalization of
inter-Korean relations despite difficulties, and expressed the
intention of Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism to help the Government.
