On July 1, Minister Kwon Youngse paid a courtesy visit to Park
Sang-Jong, the supreme leader of Chondogyo, and exchanged views on the
direction of North Korean policies by the new administration.
Minister Kwon asked that Chondogyo, deeply rooted in the spirit and
history of Korea, play a role in restoring the national homogeneity
and improving inter-Korean relations.
Supreme leader Park asserted that social integration and
inter-Korean exchanges should be based on the national spirit and
confirmed that various projects will be developed to restore the
identity and homogeneity of the Korean people.
