We will pave the way to unification together with young people
Unification Ministry holds kick-off event for 2nd 2030 Advisory
Group (February 5)
On February 5, the Ministry of Unification held the launch ceremony
for the 2nd 2030 Advisory Group at the Conference Hall of the
Inter-Korean Relations Management Hall.
The advisory group consists of young individuals active in various
fields, including university students, NGO activists, IT employees,
and social workers, and is expected to serve as a key channel in
representing the younger generation’s views on unification policies.
In his welcoming address, Minister of Unification Kim Yung Ho
expressed his anticipation for “diverse viewpoints and insights that
may have been overlooked by the older generation.” He highlighted that
the “South Korean government will listen to young voices and work with
them in shaping the inspiring future of unification.”
The event kicked off with an appointment ceremony and introductory
remarks, followed by activities like writing messages of hope for
unification, a standing tea party with Minister Kim, and a
self-meeting of the advisory group, all designed to help members shape
their plans and aspirations.
