On February 6, Vice Minister of Unification Kim Soo Kyung visited
the Center for Unified Korean Future to observe the “Unification
Leaders’ Camp” and hold a “Unification Talk with the Unification Vice Minister.”
The Unification Leaders’ Camp brought together 100 students from the
Korea Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) to explore the future of Korean
unification and discuss their views on unification and North Korea.
During the Unification Talk, Vice Minister Kim engaged in a
discussion on the future of unification with young leaders, addressing
their questions, including, “What is the role of youth in the
unification process?” “What are ways to raise awareness about
unification?” and “How can unification be practiced in everyday life?”
Additionally, Vice Minister Kim remarked, “Unification will create a
broader space for young people to explore opportunities and expand
their choices in diverse fields.” Highlighting that “this year marks
the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation,” she urged young people to
“take a greater interest in and engage more with unification.”
