On September 7,
Unification Minister Kwon Youngse visited people of separated
families and consoled them on Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving
Day.
Minister Kwon commiserated on the sorrow of division and
mentioned that the government would make the issue of separated
families its utmost priority as well as work to talk to North Korea
to resolve the issue of separated families.
