On Nov. 21, the Ministry of Unification held a seminar to implement the ‘Audacious Initiative’.

The seminar on implementing the ‘Audacious Initiative’ aimed to expand the sympathy among the public on the Audacious Initiative and to find a more concrete implementation of strategies under the main principles of the ‘Audacious Initiative.’

Unification Minister Kwon Young-se said that the Audacious Initiative was very extensive and focused on the realization of potential. He added that the keywords of the Audacious Initiative were ‘restoration of reliability’, ' all-party cooperation in Korea’, and ‘international alliance.’

Unification Minister Kwon Young-se emphasized that peace, prosperity, and unification on the Korean peninsula we dream of would be in the near future if we continue talking and communicating while pursuing unification and South and North Korea take the lead in that process.

‘Audacious Initiative’: Proposal to create a Korean peninsula of denuclearization, peace, and prosperity by the simultaneous and stepwise implementation of economic, political, and military actions by South Korea and denuclearization by North Korea.
