The government approved Wednesday (August 7) a joint-venture "cooperative project" with a North Korean company filed by an expandable polyestyrene resin maker.
Under the cooperative project, IMRI Corporation, maker of the polyestyrene resin, will produce and sell packing materials and heat insulators in North Korea with its partner, Samchonli company.
Unlike the common "processing-on-commission" formula between the two Koreas, most of the products will be sold locally in North Korea.
