On May 22, the North Korean media underscored that the North is
actively protecting biodiversity and fulfilling obligations as a
signatory to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity on the occasion
of International Day for Biological Diversity.

titled “Japan’s reckless anti-DPRK campaign will only bring ruin.”
On May 20, the North Korean media condemned Japan’s military buildup
including the Japanese Air Self Defense Forces’ plan to introduce 17
Ospreys, vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft.
