생생한 목소리를 들을 수 있었습니다.
Today, we have heard vivid voices revealing the harsh realities of human rights in North Korea.

그동안 국제사회와 NGO, 전문가 그룹의
많은 노력에도 불구하고
북한 정권의 억압과 통제는 계속되고 있습니다.
Despite the significant efforts of the international community, NGOs, and expert groups, the oppression and control of the North Korean regime persist.

북한 내에는 시장화와 정보화가 진행되면서
북한은 밑으로부터 점진적으로 변화하고 있습니다.
As marketization and the spread of information gradually take place within North Korea, the country is slowly changing from the ground up.

북한 당국의 억압과 통제 속에서도
외부 정보는 계속 유입되고 있으며
이와 함께 북한 주민들의 의식도 변화하고 있습니다.
Even under the regime's suppression and control, outside information continues to flow in, and with it, the consciousness of the North Korean people is evolving.

우리의 끊임없는 관심과 노력은
지구상 가장 폐쇄된 곳에 흘러드는
한줄기 희망의 빛줄기가 되고 있습니다.
Our unwavering attention and efforts are becoming a ray of hope that reaches even the most closed-off place on earth.

우리의 흔들림 없는 연대는
북한 주민으로 하여금 자유와 인권을 열망하도록 하여
마침내 북한의 변화를 이끌어낼 것입니다.
Our steadfast solidarity will inspire the North Korean people to yearn for freedom and human rights, ultimately driving change within North Korea.

앞으로도 세계 곳곳에 있는
북한인권 피해자들에게 귀기울여 주시고,
다양한 계기에 이들의 목소리를 전하며
북한인권 증진을 위해 힘써주시기를 부탁드립니다.
I urge you to continue listening to the voices of North Korean human rights victims around the world and to amplify their voices, working tirelessly to promote human rights in North Korea.
