1. Government’s stance regarding the inter-Korean working-level talks on Mt. Geumgang tour and reunion of the separated families
 
North Korea notified through the liaison officers at Panmunjeom yesterday(July 10th) that it will put off the proposed working-level talks on tours to Mt. Geumgang and the reunion of the separated families.
 
North Korea stated that the reason for the postponement was to focus on solving the issues on the Gaeseong Industrial Complex(GIC) as stated by the R.O.K. government on July 10th.
 
The R.O.K. government urges North Korea to come out to the Inter-Korean Red Cross working-level contacts in order to solve a pure humanitarian matter of the separated families.
 
2. Regarding the visit to the North by the GIC tenant companies
 
A total of 174 businessmen with 123 vehicles crossed the military demarcation line(MDL) at 9 A.M.
 
The tenant companies will make a request to North Korea to take out their products this morning.
 
3. Ministry of Unification signs MOU with Ministry of Gender Equality & Family
 
Ministry of Unification will sign a memorandum of understanding with Ministry of Gender Equality & Family at Hanawon in order to strengthen the support for North Korean refugees in gender equality and family policy fields.
