1. Regarding the working-level Red Cross contacts for reunion of the separated families and North Korea’s proposal on holding working-level inter-Korean talks for the resumption of the Mt. Geumgang tour
 
The R.O.K. government will go through consultations with North Korea to have as many people attend the family reunion at the working-level Red Cross contacts, which is scheduled to be held on August 23rd.
 
We expect North Korea’s active response to our proposal on holding the reunion contacts at Panmunjeom Peace House.
 
As for North Korea’s proposal to hold inter-Korean working level talks on the resumption of the Mt. Geumgang tour on the 22nd, the R.O.K. government will announce our stance after review.
 
2. Regarding the Gaeseong Industrial Complex(GIC)
 
South and North Korea did not exchange any proposal to discuss the formation and operation of the “South-North Joint Committee for Gaeseong Industrial Complex.”
 
3. International peace park inside the DMZ
 
The R.O.K. government has not made any decisions on specific plans regarding the location and creation of the “DMZ international park.”
 
4. Regarding the report on lifting ‘May 24 measures’
 
North Korea must take responsible measures that can be accepted by the public in order for the government to withdraw the imposed sanctions and there is no change of the government’s stance regarding this issue.
