1. Minister’s Schedule
Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae will attend the cabinet meeting tomorrow(1.14) at 10 A.M.
2. Vice Minister’s Schedules
Vice Minister Kim Nam-sik will attend the 1st Committee for Patriots and Veterans Affairs on Friday(1.17) at 10:15 A.M. followed by the vice-ministers’ conference at 4 P.M.
3. Work on setting the RFID system
The work on setting the Radio-Frequency Identification(RFID) system is to be completed within this week.
After the construction is completed, we will run a system stability test for 1~2 weeks and improve problems found during the pilot run. Starting the end of January, daily travel permits into the GIC will be allowed for visitors.
4. Entry and exit status
824 South Korean citizens will enter and 332 will exit the GIC today. A total of 280 people stayed in the GIC yesterday.
