1. Minister’s Schedules
Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae will attend the ‘Unification IT Forum’ and give a lecture on “Directions and Tasks for Unification Era” on Tuesday(1.21) at 7:30 A.M. followed by the cabinet meeting at 10 A.M.
On Wednesday(1.22), Minister Ryoo will attend 『Hankyong Millennium Forum』 and give a lecture on “Current Inter-Korean Issues and Countermeasures.”
At 3 P.M., Minister Ryoo will sit down for a meeting with the members of the Brookings Institution.
On Friday(1.24), the Minister will sit down for a meeting with families of the Korean War abductees at 3 P.M.
2. Vice Minister’s Schedules
Vice Minister Kim Nam-sik will visit markets and welfare facilities upon Lunar New Year’s Day on Friday(1.24) at 2 P.M.
At 4 P.M., Vice Minister Kim will attend the vice-ministers’ conference.
3. Institute for Unification Education recruits 『Term Three Child Reporters』
From January 21 to February 26, the Institute for Unification Education is recruiting 『Term Three Child Reporters』 of the Unification Ministry among 5th and 6th graders in elementary schools for the 2014 school year.
4. Entry and exit status
866 South Korean citizens will enter and 339 will exit the GIC today. A total of 255 people stayed in the GIC yesterday.
