1. Minister’s Schedules
Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae convened an executive meeting today at 9 A.M.
On Tuesday(3.11), Minister Ryoo will attend a breakfast meeting hosted by the ‘ROTC Central Committee’ and give a lecture on “Directions and Tasks for Unification Era” at 7 A.M. at the Korea Press Center.
On Wednesday(3.12), Minister Ryoo will attend the proclamation ceremony of the Presidential Committee for National Cohesion’s ‘Feeling self-rewarded by carrying out small practices’ campaign at 1:30 P.M.
On Friday(3.14) Minister will give a special lecture on “Directions and Tasks for Unification Era” to the executives and employees of the Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO) at 2 P.M. at the KEPCO headquarters.
2. Vice Minister’s Schedules
Vice Minister Kim Nam-sik will attend the opening ceremony of the ‘Academy of Unification and Sharing’ and deliver a congratulatory speech tomorrow at 6:30 P.M.
3. North Korea’s 13th Supreme People’s Assembly’s Deputies Election
North Korea held the 13th deputies election of the Supreme People’s Assembly yesterday(3.9).
Through its state media, North Korea reported that all voters registered on the voters’ list went to the polls except for those who are overseas yesterday at 6 P.M. However, North Korea did not announce the final voter turnout and the list of the elected deputies yet.
The final voter turnout will be informed later after North Korea makes an official announcement.
4. Entry and exit status
855 South Korean citizens will enter and 306 will exit the GIC today. A total of 225 people stayed in the GIC yesterday.
