1. Minister’s Schedules
Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae will attend the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia(CICA) at 11 A.M., KST.
Through his speech at the CICA, Minister Ryoo will emphasize the need for stabilization on the Korean Peninsula to preserve peace within the region. Also, he will ask the member states for their attention and active cooperation as he explains the unification policy of the Korean government and the “Peace and Cooperation Initiative in Northeast Asia.”
2. Cardinal Yeom Soo-jung visits Gaeseong Industrial Complex(GIC)
Cardinal Yeom Soo-jung and 7 of his aides from the Catholic Church visited the GIC through the Gyeongui Highway Transit Office today at 8:30 A.M.
Cardinal Yeom visited the GIC tenant companies to encourage and console the South Korean workers. He is planning to come back to the South at 5 P.M.

The entry into and exit from the GIC is proceeding as usual.
