1. Minister’s Schedules
Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae will attend the “2014 International Environment Symposium on DMZ, Peace and Land of Life” and deliver a congratulatory speech at 10:30 A.M.
At 11:30 A.M., Minister Ryoo will attend the appointment ceremony of the ‘working committee for compiling fact-finding report’ on abductions during the Korean War.
2. Unikorea Education Week ？ Day 3
On the 3rd day of the “Unikorea Education Week,” the Unification Ministry invited foreign experts on the issues of the Korean Peninsula to give a special lecture. Professor Sandip Kumar Mishra of Delhi University in India delivered a special lecture on “Unification of the Korean Peninsula, from an International Perspective” to directors of the government ministries at the Korean National Diplomatic Academy at 9 A.M.
Professor Mishra will give the following lecture to the students of the Korea National Defense University at 3:30 P.M.
Minister Ryoo will deliver a special lecture on “Directions and Tasks for Unification Era” to the students of Korea University at 5 P.M.
Vice Minister Kim Nam-sik will also give a lecture on “Directions and Tasks for Unification Era” to the students of Kangwon University at 3 P.M.
3. Entry and exit status
The entry into and exit from the GIC is proceeding as usual.
