1. Minister’s Schedules
Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae will attend the cabinet meeting on Tuesday(6.3) at 10 A.M.
At 3 P.M., Minister Ryoo will give a special lecture on “Directions and Tasks for Unification Era” at Myongji University.
On Friday(6.6), Minister Ryoo will attend the Memorial Day Ceremony at 9:55 A.M.
2. Vice Minister’s Schedules
Vice Minister Kim Nam-sik will attend the vice-ministers’ conference on Thursday(6.5) at 4 P.M.
3. IUE’s student recruitment for specialized course on unification education
The Institute for Unification Education(IUE) is planning to launch a specialized course on unification education for trainees to teach unification at schools and institutions by strengthening their expertise.
To be held from July 7th to August 1st, the course will be comprised of classes on unification and North Korea, training sessions in lecturing, discussions, and field trips. All expenses will be provided by the IUE.
The IUE is planning to accept applications until Tuesday, June 10th.
4. Entry and exit status
887 South Korean citizens will enter and 371 will exit the GIC today. A total of 290 people stayed in the GIC yesterday.
