Minister Yu Woo-ik will have an interview with Yonhap News Agency at 4:30 P.M
2. Approval for Catholic Leaders’ Visit to North Korea
Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea and Nation Reconciliation Committee in Seoul applied to visit North Korea from November 29th to December 2nd. Chosun Catholic Alliance invited them to visit the North to hold a mass at Jangchung Cathedral in Pyongyang and to increase exchanges of Catholic communities from the two Koreas.
Ministry of Unification will approve the visit because their purpose is purely related to religious activities.
The delegation is headed by Father Raphael Seo Jong-yeob, executive secretary of Catholic Bishops’ Conference and Mgr. Thomas Aquinas Choi Chang-hwa, director of Nation Reconciliation Committee.
