1. Hyundai Asan Representatives' Visit to North Korea
14 employees of Hyundai Asan including President Chang Kyung Chak crossed the Military Demarcation Line at 09:40 A.M., Friday to participate in a remembrance ceremony of the late President Chung Mong-hun taking place at the Mount Geumgang resort. The representatives will return to the South via the same route at 16:00 P.M.
2. North Korea Flood Aid
The Korean government maintains its basic stance on humanitarian assistance: provision of humanitarian aid will be made to the vulnerable class in North Korea when necessary. However, there is no specific discussion on North Korea flood aid as of present.
