1. Minister's Schedules
Minister Hong Yong-Pyo will attend the 2017 State-of-the-Nation Address on a revised supplementary budget today(6.12) at 2:00 P.M.
On Tuesday(6.13), Minister Hong will attend the video conference cabinet meeting at 10 A.M.
2. Vice Minister's Schedules
Vice Minister Chun Haesung will deliver congratulatory remarks at an international conference held by the Institute for Far Eastern Studies on Wednesday(6.14) at 1:30 P.M.
On Thursday(4.20), Vice Minister Chun will sit down for a meeting with Tom Shannon (U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs) at 10 A.M. The Vice Minister will also attend the vice-ministers’ conference at 4:30 P.M., followed by an event commemorating the 17th anniversary of the 6.15 inter-Korean summit meeting.
3. Unification Ministry to hold ｢2017 Unification Start-Up Idea Contest｣
From June 12th to July 20th, the Ministry of Unification is holding the 2017 Unification Start-Up Idea Contest targeting Koreans in the 20s and 30s, allowing participants to envision a unified Korean future and build a consensus on the need for unification.
4. Unification Ministry to hold Unification Culture Contest
The Ministry of Unification will receive submissions for Unification Culture Contest starting today(6.12). Submission contents can vary from films, songs, and artwork with a theme of peace and unification.
