1. Hanawon holds gathering event of trainees
The Settlement Support Center for North Korean Refugees (Hanawon) is holding a gathering event inviting around 70 graduates (North Korean defectors) on Aug. 5. Under the theme of ‘communication and bonding,’ graduates will share their experiences with the trainees.
Hanawon will continue holding such events to take a step further from simply providing education and support for the settlement of defectors, and serve as a ‘home’ where they can seek emotional security.
