Unification Minister Kim Yung Ho talks unification with Neulbom
School students (grade 1-2) (March 26)
On March 26, Unification Minister Kim Yung Ho visited Yeoncheon
Elementary School as a one-day unification teacher to help the early
settlement of Neulbom School (after-school care program).
Minister Kim spent time with 1st and 2nd-grade students sticking
Korean Peninsula stickers and drawing the Taegeukgi (the national flag
of the Republic of Korea) to convey the meaning of unification and the
necessity of unification that is based on liberal democracy.
Prior to this, Minister Kim met with relevant officials of Neulbom
School and underscored the importance of the school, stating, “Neulbom
School will play a great role in addressing various challenges facing
our society, including childcare burden and low birth rate.”
In particular, Minister Kim pledged active cooperation regarding the
areas that the Ministry of Unification can provide, such as providing
unification education content, mentioning, “As unification is a matter
concerning the future of a free Republic of Korea that our future
generations will enjoy, we must consider unification and education for
future generations in one box.”
