Call for 2023 K-Unification
Friends Activities on
North Korea and Korean Unification
A. Purpose
● The
purpose of this program is to support activities of youth* in their
20s and 30s with their public diplomacy for unification to facilitate
discussion on North Korea and Unification issues in the international
community.
* Youth is defined as people aged between 19 – 34.
B. Overview
●
Eligibility for application includes individuals, organizations or
institutions with experience and expertise on facilitating activities
of youth in their 20s and 30s to promote discussion on Unification and
North Korea issue in the international community.
● Seminar, debate, campaign or other
activities should be directly related to promoting participation of
youth with Unification and North Korea related events. Programs will
be selected following application and review process.
● At least 50% of the participants
must be foreigners or those who reside overseas with English as the
Working Language of the event.
● Evaluation and selection of
applications will be done by committee comprised of officials of the
Ministry of Unification and experts.

* The evaluation
committee may not select any project following the
evaluation
● The
selected applicants for the project (individual/group) will develop
specific plan by coordinating with the Ministry of Unification, and
the Ministry of Unification will cover up to 20 million KRW of cost
for honorarium, printing, advertisement and venue.
C. Procedure
● Application: Aug. 16 to Sep. 13
● Selection: Sep. 14
to Sep. 22
* Result will be notified individually.
● Activities/events should be carried
out by Dec. 8, 2023.
