Firm responses to North Korea’s provocations and establishment of
proper inter-Korean relations based on consistent principles
Unification Minister delivers a lecture at the 463rd breakfast
lecture meeting held by the Incheon Business Forum (November 23)
On November 23, Unification Minister Kim Yung Ho attended the 463rd
breakfast lecture meeting held by the Incheon Business Forum (IBF)*
and delivered a lecture on unification and North Korea policies of the
Yoon administration to around 100 participants, including President of
the IBF Won Yong-hwi and business people and heads of organizations in Incheon.
* Incheon Business Forum (IBF) has been holding monthly breakfast
lecture meetings since its establishment in 1999.
Minister Kim emphasized recent changes in the situation on the
Korean Peninsula and the need for unification policies based on the constitution.
Furthermore, the minister stated, “We will resolutely respond to
North Korea’s provocations and establish inter-Korean relations based
on consistent principles,” mentioning the North’s recent “military spy
satellite” launch and suspension of the “September 19 Military Agreement.”
Additionally, mentioning the significance of the successful
settlement of North Korean defectors, with a specific focus on
“employment,” in the pursuit of achieving a free unification, Minister
Kim asked business people in Incheon for their interest and
cooperation for the upcoming 2023 Job Fair for North Korean Defectors
on December 1.
