A group of 300 South Koreans flew into
Pyongyang via a direct Incheon-Pyongyanag flight early Friday (June 14)
afternoon for a week-long visit.
The visitors are members of the Korean Welfare
Foundation. They were invited in appreciation for the organization's
humanitarian assistance to North Koreans.
While in the North Korean capital, they will visit the
Pyongyang Cardiac Center for Children and the First People's Hospital, which is
also a children's hospital. Both places are the recipients of the foundation's
assistance.
They will also visit Bongsu and Chilgol churches in
Pyongyang to hold inter-Korean prayer meetings. Their itinerary also includes a
visit to Gaeseong City and Mt. Baekdu. |
